If you're looking for work in Callaway County, this one's for you. Simpson Strong-Tie is investing more than $19 million in a new Fulton facility and expects it to create 24 jobs. The company broke ground in October, and the facility will go where its current facility sits.

Missouri's economic development director, Michelle Hataway, said she's excited to see the company growing in Missouri. The 24 jobs would come on top of the 30 now at Monet DeSauw, which Simpson Strong-Tie acquired in August 2024. Senior vice president Nick Algya said the new jobs will be filled locally.

The company will benefit from the , but Algya said that was a secondary thought.

“It really didn't determine whether or not we were going to stay there.”
