HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Elizabeth Payne walked two miles on a busy Jefferson City sidewalk on Saturday while temperatures rose above 90°F—many residents worked, biked, and swam despite the heat. The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for the area through 9 p.m. Tuesday—residents are urged to wear light clothing, limit hard outdoor work, and drink plenty of water.
