- ➤ On Saturday, June 14th, American Legion Post 5 held a retirement ceremony in Jefferson City where veterans destroyed an American flag in line with their Flag Day tradition — about 40 people observed the event. - ➤ The Men's Club of Trinity Lutheran Church hosted a Father's Day barbeque on Sunday in Jefferson City, selling ready-to-eat & frozen ribs at $23 for a full-slab & $13 for a half-slab.
