- ➤ Lafayette Street near Jefferson City High School is closed between Stadium Boulevard & E. Franklin Street for stormwater utility work that began Dec. 22 and will end Jan. 5 to ease traffic during the high school's break. KRCG-TV
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ KWOS will broadcast the Great 8 Basketball Tournament on Dec. 28 and Dec. 29. The event features teams from Helias, Capital City, Jefferson City, and Blair Oaks. KWOS
- ➤ Local wrestler Deegan Mitchell, a senior captain, went 4-0 at the Steve Johnson Invitational this past weekend and won all matches at the Missouri Duals to help the Jefferson City Jays capture the team title, showcasing his skill and leadership among younger teammates. KWOS
