- ➤ The annual One for One holiday food and fund drive held Wednesday in Columbia and Jefferson City helped feed 100,000 people monthly across 32 counties. The event ran until 6 p.m. at local venues and featured Zimmer Radio hourly triple matches + donations matched up to $50,000. KWOS

- ➤ Lincoln University celebrates its 160th milestone with Founders’ Day on Thursday, Jan. 15 at 11 a.m. at Richardson Fine Arts Center in Jefferson City — the free event will feature alumna Valerie Daniels-Carter delivering a keynote speech. Lincoln University of Missouri
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Jefferson City Council introduced a bill Monday night to raise parking fines around town, a move that some local business owners say may discourage shoppers since fines could jump to $25 (with increases of $19 for expired meters). City officials have not yet scheduled a vote on the proposal. ABC 17
- ➤ Gov. Mike Kehoe's office projected Missouri's general revenue will drop 2.1% in fiscal 2026 compared to last year, and revenue is expected to grow 3.8% in fiscal 2027. Kehoe will unveil his budget at the State of the State Address on Jan. 13. ABC 17
