- ➤ On Tuesday evening, the Christmas Drone Show by Starstruck lit up skies at the Special Olympics Missouri parking lot. The 150 drones formed festive shapes (a Christmas tree and snowflakes) and proceeds supported Special Olympics. KRCG-TV

- ➤ Former correctional staff and a watchdog group claim staffing issues at JCCC have delayed inmate medical care, even though the DOC says gaps have been filled. State Rep. Bill Allen supports a bill for an independent oversight office to boost transparency. KRCG-TV
- ➤ On Tuesday, the Cole County Commission approved a plan to require leashes in county parks after a complaint about a loose dog; attorney Jill LaHue said her department has begun drafting language (based on a unanimous parks committee recommendation) (to enforce the rule). ABC 17
