- ➤ The Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri will host the One for One Holiday food and fund drive on Wednesday from 6 am to 6 pm at Columbia Mall plus Buchheit in Jefferson City to help tackle rising food insecurity with local sponsors and community figures on hand. KWOS
- ➤ Students volunteered this weekend as local high school mascots from the Jays + Crusaders + Cavaliers competed in the Salvation Army's Red Kettle campaign ring off to help reach a $410,000 fundraising goal. The winning team will earn a traveling trophy while City Council members are set to compete Tuesday. KRCG-TV

- ➤ Lincoln University of Missouri announced that Piyusha Singh, Ph.D., who served as interim provost since July 21, is now permanent provost and vice president for academic affairs to strengthen its academic mission + support student success. Lincoln University of Missouri
- ➤ Lincoln University has named Darius Watson as dean of its School of Professional Studies, and he will continue as assistant provost for academic innovation, outreach and research.
