- ➤ Multiple area school districts canceled classes today due to a winter storm that made travel unsafe—Columbia Public Schools had its first snow day while Jefferson City School District will begin classes two hours late to allow road crews time to clear roads. KWOS
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ MoDOT said road work on Highway 54 south of Jefferson City is mostly finished after completing bridge work over the Neighorn Branch on Nov. 28. The department removed turning restrictions—though single lane closures will remain planned in the next few weeks to smooth pavement approaches. KRCG-TV
