- ➤ Gardens To Go returns with a Christmas event as longtime protegé Quin Kipphut and his wife take over the nursery after owner Cindy Crecelius passed away in September—Quin will bale a Christmas tree on Friday to start the season. Jefferson City News Tribune
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Missouri beat Arkansas 31-17 on Saturday when Ahmad Hardy ran for 149 yards and a touchdown while Jamal Roberts added 100 rushing yards; the Tigers gained 322 rushing yards with a key 57-yard touchdown run and a 67-yard punt-return score. Coach Drinkwitz—who signed an extension earlier this week—led Missouri to its fourth straight win over Arkansas in the rivalry game. Jefferson City News Tribune
- ➤ The Blair Oaks Falcons recorded their season's fifth shutout win on Saturday afternoon at Liberty Eagles Field with a 42-0 victory that limited the Liberty: Mountain View Eagles to 84 yards of offense.
