- ➤ On Thanksgiving, the Jefferson City Salvation Army served hot meals to about 150 people using 15 turkeys and 12 volunteers, and one former recipient, Jessica Wilson, returned with her family to help the center serve others. The organization also distributed coats, gloves, and blankets, and its Cold Cot Program stayed open as temperatures dropped below freezing. KRCG-TV

- ➤ Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway warned shoppers to be alert for scams as Black Friday and Cyber Monday approach, advising them to watch for fake emails and deals—scammers often use online sales to steal personal details.
