- ➤ Families in Jefferson City are invited to a magical princess party today at 1315 Fairgrounds Road hosted by volunteers from the Little Explorers Discovery Center. Attendees can enjoy meet-and-greet sessions with princes and princesses, photo ops, autographs, and a 10-minute royal medley performance — tickets are $20 with proceeds benefiting local early-childhood education and childcare. - ➤ Mid-Missouri residents were shocked after a Boone County woman was charged with animal abuse at her dog breeding operation—Missouri law did not require routine inspections unless complaints were filed. ABC 17
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students in Lincoln University’s SW 310 Intercultural Communication course volunteered at local agencies—packing buddy packs, assembling wellness kits, and stocking food pantries to support Jefferson City families. - ➤ The parking lane on Stadium Boulevard outside Helias Catholic High School in Jefferson City will be closed next week for sidewalk repairs with crews working from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday + the northbound lane on Myrtle Avenue will be closed for shorter periods on Monday and Wednesday.
