- ➤ Local artist and Helias alum Alex Eickhoff is painting a large mural on the Pizza Underground building on High Street to honor his Jefferson City roots as the city marks its 200th anniversary today. He won the project bid in July and expects to finish the work in about a month—hiding local symbols in his design. KRCG-TV
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education released data showing that more than 91% of public schools met or exceeded state standards for the 2024-25 school year—92% of students attend these schools. Jefferson City School District earned a composite score of 83.2% as improvements were noted in both English Language Arts and math statewide. ABC 17
