  • The Diocese of Jefferson City will soon install its new bishop—Bishop-Elect Ralph O'Donnell—at a Solemn Vespers service following a media event on Tuesday at Cana Hall at Cathedral of St. Joseph.   • Gladiator Games opened at Strikers in Jefferson City on Oct. 24, offering PC gaming where 10 gaming PCs loaded with over 100 games & a projector live casts sessions for several gamers. REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Real estate sales in Jefferson City dropped in September with 116 homes sold—a 15.9 percent decrease from last year—as active listings rose by 9.3 percent to 271 and days on market increased 27.6 percent to 37 while the average sales price jumped 67.6 percent to $299,942. Missouri home sales statewide increased 7 percent to 6,522 units and the median selling price went up 4 percent to $279,900.  Jefferson City News Tribune
