ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ The Missouri State Highway Patrol warned drivers to be careful in October as deer are very active at dawn and dusk—2,951 crashes last year included one incident in Cole County that seriously hurt an Eldon man. Drivers are urged to avoid swerving to reduce the risk of losing control. ABC 17

- ➤ Jefferson City's JC200 Street Fair was held Friday on Madison Street near the Governor's Mansion to celebrate the city's 200th anniversary—featuring re-enactments, artifacts, and interactive displays where visitors like the Soden family met figures such as Abraham Lincoln.
