- ➤ Jefferson City plans to repair roads in the historic Southside area as its City Council committee forwarded a $405,685 design contract request for improvements to the 700-1100 blocks of Madison Street — officials say the project will begin after further design work is completed. - ➤ The Missouri State Capitol Commission has partnered with MOCA Services to create a master plan for restoring the Capitol Building and its surrounding area. The plan details underground additions—covering the north and south sides as well as layout changes to the south lawn—and sets the stage for future work on the restoration.
