- ➤ E&C Bridge LLC finished work on the Highway 54 tri-level bridge over Missouri Boulevard ahead of schedule Wednesday night, and MoDOT said the $5.3 million project was completed sooner than expected. The state added that with work on seven bridges now done, crews will continue projects on the Neighorn Branch bridge and a Highway 50 lane narrowing until early October — reducing ongoing traffic impacts in Jefferson City. - ➤ Yesterday at noon, Gov. Mike Kehoe’s special session held its first redistricting committee meeting in Jefferson City where public testimony on House Bill 1 was heard before the committee went into executive session—committee chair Richard West said. The meeting proceeded despite NAACP efforts to block the session with a restraining order and included discussions on congressional map proposals and initiative petition reform. ABC 17
