Arris John Pardalos, who founded the High Street pizzeria in 1961, has died as announced by his family.
The restaurant will close Monday, Aug. 24 until Wednesday, Aug. 26 (for necessary arrangements).
Jefferson City police and firefighters will face off at Washington Ice Park on Saturday in the annual Guns vs. Hoses charity hockey game (doors open at 6 p.m. and play starts at 7:15 p.m.) with proceeds benefiting Safety Net Missouri.
