- ➤ A 74-year-old man from California, Mo. died in a fatal accident on August 3 in Moniteau County when his 2001 Honda TRX-350FM crossed the center of the road and overturned on Route KK near Swillum Road at 8:30 a.m.—he was pronounced dead at 9:20 a.m. KRCG-TV

- ➤ Fulton woman Rainie S. Sexton, 37, was charged with DWI and armed criminal action after police said her wrong-way driving on Highway 50 in Jefferson City caused a head-on crash that injured one driver who is now in stable condition — she is held without bond at Cole County Jail. KRCG-TV
