Callaway County Humane Society has opened The Pet Pantry, a free self-service resource for pet supplies, in Holts Summit today at 500 Hunter Lane.
It will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until supplies run out (all donations must be vetted).
🎓 Education
Elizabeth Dorssom, a professor at Lincoln University, contributed a chapter *From First-Generation College Graduate to Ph.D.
Student: How to Transition* in a book that examines ways first-generation students can navigate graduate education. The chapter, published July 9 by Bloomsbury Academic, offers guidance on research, mentorship and managing costs.
