- ➤ Missouri Capitol Police have requested an arrest warrant for Columbia man Ronald Platto—accused of First-Degree Harassment—after a victim reported unwanted notes and money left on their car outside the Truman Office Building from early April through May 5, with security footage showing him repeatedly near the vehicle and elevator. - ➤ After the 2024 record-low cattle numbers, Missouri cattle farmers switched to breeding heavier cows to help keep beef supply steady (some plants now accept up to 1,200-pound carcasses). This change comes as farmers adjust to higher feed costs and rising beef prices. Jefferson City News Tribune
