Engineers refilled Big Boy with 40,000 gallons of treated water in Jefferson City on Monday, July 20 and the iconic steam engine parked overnight before leaving the next day; local enthusiasts gathered on the Algoa Road railroad bridge to watch the event.

Jefferson City's bus system will have route modifications next week due to staffing shortages, the city announced Wednesday.

Green and gold routes and blue and red routes will alternate service + passengers are advised to plan ahead since buses will not run at regular frequency.
