Thomas, 32, after they found drugs and a syringe fall from her car parked on a home's lawn at 8:06 a.m. on Wednesday—she faces felony charges of Second Degree Drug Trafficking and Possession of Controlled Substance along with misdemeanor counts of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, DWI, and Failure to Drive on Right Half of the Roadway. - ➤ A Columbia man, Collin M. Stosberg, 52, was charged after he punched a Jefferson City officer and struck a paramedic on July 16 at 2:10 a.m.—prosecutors charged him with Third Degree Assault of a Special Victim, Fourth Degree Assault, and Resisting Arrest for a Felony as he reacted to THC-infused gummies. - ➤ Grain Belt Express, planning a high-voltage wind energy transmission line, filed a petition in Cole County Circuit Court on Wednesday to block Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s document demand — which he issued on July 2 — saying it is unlawful and politically motivated.
