ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • At 12:41 a.m. on Sunday, the Jefferson City Fire Department battled a residential fire on the 800 block of Weathered Rock Road—firefighters controlled the blaze in 30 minutes, damaging apartments and displacing two families while no one was injured and the cause is under investigation.  ABC 17

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Missouri lawmakers banned the 'three-cueing' reading method as the primary instruction when Gov. Mike Kehoe signed a bipartisan education package on Wednesday.
