Due to extreme heat, today's Salute to America ceremony moves indoors at the State Capitol while festival events continue downtown, including a parade at 6 p.m. Police have blocked roads from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. (JCPD advises drivers to plan for extra travel time).

On Friday, the Renegades fell 17-4 to the Monarchs & Spencer Baehman contributed two RBIs to a 10-13 summer record.
