Missouri lawmakers are considering a second special session to address lingering questions about new property tax relief.
House Speaker Jon Patterson — who held a news conference last week — urged the governor to schedule this extra session to run with the regular veto session in September.
A Jefferson City resident said he was frustrated with the city’s response to a backyard sinkhole — the hole collapsed on June 14 while he was mowing, swallowed his John Deere mower, and had been fenced off for years due to failing infrastructure.
