EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Lincoln University has partnered with the Missouri Department of Social Services to offer a one-year certificate program for working adults and nontraditional students that provides online courses in high-demand fields such as accounting, cybersecurity, direct care, and office administration. Students who meet admission requirements can enroll in paid internships and may join a new manufacturing cohort developed with the University of Missouri-Kansas City. KRCG-TV
- ➤ On Wednesday night, the South Callaway Board of Education met in MOKANE and focused on district finances—also considering policies for the upcoming school year. The board reviewed budget issues as it planned changes for the coming term. Jefferson City News Tribune

- ➤ United Capital City Soccer Club is getting close to laying turf at its new sports complex in Jefferson City after weather delays — workers plan to finish poles, lights, and backstops by the end of June with turf set between July 15 and July 20.
