St. Mary’s Auxiliary celebrated 68 years of its annual ice cream social on Wednesday when about 750 residents enjoyed homemade cakes, ice cream, and treats at Cana Hall.

Bagnell Dam nears 100 years as it continues powering local communities and attracting recreation near Lake Ozarks.
Built during the Depression (with over 20,000 workers), the concrete dam has been upgraded by Ameren Missouri to supply renewable energy and draw tourists, marking a century of innovation.

The Bolivar Street bridge in Jefferson City reopened two months early after crews repaired the road and improved the sidewalks.
MoDOT finished the repairs as the final step in fixing 11 city bridges.
