- ➤ Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe and the state Senate reached an agreement on increased disaster aid after a tornado struck St. Louis last month. Officials said the move comes amid uncertain federal responses — extra help may be needed. Jefferson City News Tribune
- ➤ MoDOT began phase two improvements on Highway 54 in Jefferson City as part of its Bridge Bundle after storms moved the traffic shift to Wednesday. The work will narrow lanes and close four ramps near Linden Drive and Stadium Boulevard—Cole County EMS said the nearby exit to Capital Region Medical Center will remain open so emergency response will not be delayed.
