- ➤ Four months and four days into the 2025 Missouri General Assembly, Senate leader O’Laughlin helped bring order to the Senate—but House Bill 19 was dropped on Friday amid budget fights that left many House members upset about key projects. The disagreement has raised tensions between the two chambers and may affect future lawmaking. The Missouri Times
- ➤ Construction crews begin Phase 2 improvements on Highway 54 as four ramps near Linden Drive and Stadium Boulevard will close and lanes narrow to one in each direction starting Tuesday, while local teams will also close the Ellis Boulevard Overpass Bridge nightly from Sunday through Wednesday (the work is part of a DOT Bridge Bundle expected to finish by October).
