In Mid-Missouri, foster children outnumber available homes, forcing some kids to move between short-term placements while others are sent to counties far from home.

During May, the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeerie 2693 in Jefferson City awarded six students the Rob Ferguson Memorial Scholarships; each student got $1,000 with a certificate, check — and a box of candy.
