- ➤ Legion Barbecue held a lunchtime event on May 17th at Schulte’s Fresh Foods parking lot that served saucy meals to veterans & made dining easy for customers. Jefferson City News Tribune
- ➤ Capital City will host a series of community events in the coming weeks including a free mental health walk-through at JCMG on May 20 that offers resources & swag bags, state track championships at Jefferson City High School on May 23-24 and May 30-31, and a Pow Wow celebrating Native American culture at the Jaycees Cole County Fairgrounds on May 24-25. Kidsfest at Ellis-Porter Riverside Park on May 31 and a vintage and handmade market at the same fairgrounds on June 6-7 will offer free entry for children & low admission fees for adults.
