- ➤ A community garden opened on Lincoln University's campus at 1204 Chestnut Street, offering 14 raised beds free for students and $15 per year for community members. LU Cooperative Extension’s Native and Specialty Crops Program will provide workshops and plant identification sessions to teach food growing and soil health. Lincoln University of Missouri

- ➤ Lincoln University honored faculty for excellence in teaching + mentorship and community engagement at its awards event today on campus. The event also celebrated milestone years of service and the retirement of an advisor. Lincoln University of Missouri
- ➤ Mikael Epps, a senior at Lincoln University (the first in his family to earn a degree), will graduate in May and plans to pursue culinary school and work as a behavioral support specialist while expanding his catering venture, Eat’s with Kel’s. - ➤ The Cole County Emergency Management office will soon launch an online form to let residents send storm damage photos after recent tornado scares. The county approved $750 to add a creator license to its GIS software contract + enhance data collection in rural areas. Jefferson City News Tribune
