  • Danielle Schwartz is celebrating 10 years of service to adults with developmental disabilities by running Day Solutions in Jefferson City.   • ChargerGoGo launched on-demand charging kiosks at Coffee Zone in downtown Jefferson City—customers have seen the new machine this past week and more kiosks will soon support local businesses and mobile charging needs.  Jefferson City News Tribune

CULTURE NEWS

  • On Sunday, Jefferson City residents enjoyed a full day of music for the third year as Porchfest partnered with Lorie Smith Blues Fest, with more than 50 local artists performing from porches on Fairmount Boulevard, Fairmount Court and Oakwood Drive—DJ Spinnz led a popular line dance and homeowner Lynne Johnson praised the variety.  Jefferson City News Tribune

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Methodist Early Learning celebrated the retirements of Heather Warbritton and Stacey Hamner at a joint party held Sunday at First United Methodist Church—Warbritton served about 25 years and Hamner about 16 years—and both helped shape many children's early learning.  Jefferson City News Tribune
  • William Woods University held its Class of 2025 commencement on Saturday in Fulton, where it awarded degrees to 252 undergraduates and 269 graduates at the Cutlip auditorium. The ceremony marked a farewell to the graduates as they prepared for future steps.  Jefferson City News Tribune

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Officers killed in the line of duty were honored at the Capitol on Saturday as the Wall of Honor now includes 752 names, among them those from incidents in Independence, Lake Lafayette, Osage Beach, St. Louis, Lewistown and Webb City—Governor Mike Kehoe and Attorney General Andrew Bailey pledged to continue supporting law enforcement efforts in Missouri.  KRCG-TV
