- ➤ On Thursday afternoon, survivors, advocates & law enforcement gathered at the Capitol to mark National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. The event highlighted survivors’ experiences and promoted awareness of available rights and support. KRCG-TV
- ➤ Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries launched a new visitation facility on Thursday afternoon on Capital Avenue to provide foster families a home-like space for reunification. The initiative offers a natural setting in place of state offices (operating on donations and local partner support) as part of its service expansion. KRCG-TV
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Mike Kehoe spoke at a breakfast organized by the Southern Boone Economic Development Council Thursday morning at 511 Optimist Dr in Ashland, where he gave regional updates. The event followed legislative votes on a measure to eliminate income tax and permit new sales taxes on future ballots. ABC 17
