GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ JeffTran will use an alternating route schedule starting Monday, May 4 to cope with driver shortages and retirements. Fixed routes will run early and late while Gold/Green and Red/Blue routes alternate from 8:40 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. + Handi-Wheels maintain modified service. ABC 17
- ➤ The Jefferson City Police Department honored K9 Officer Diesel’s retirement on Monday after six years of service. Diesel, who worked closely with Officer Scheuler on over 500 operations, received a Key to the City from Mayor Ron Fitzwater in Cole County. KRCG-TV
