EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A bill to create a commission of five members for high school sports oversight passed the Senate on April 13 and was approved by the House Corrections and Public Institutions Committee Monday. The measure would let students appeal decisions while keeping MSHSAA intact. KRCG-TV
- ➤ Lincoln University's Small Ruminant Program held its second annual Fencing Field Day on March 20 near Springfield at Mark Green’s farm. State extension specialists offered hands-on fencing and pasture management training, and organizers said future events may adjust for long-distance participants. Lincoln University of Missouri
