- ➤ Four people were injured when a porch and staircase collapsed from a Jefferson City apartment Friday—three were taken to University Hospital, including a 4-year-old girl, and officials are investigating reports that the stairs had been unstable since the tenants moved in. ABC 17

- ➤ CPD detective Renee Wilbarger who investigated a 1984 cold case will join Governor Mike Kehoe on the Capitol steps in Jefferson City today at a crime victims’ rights ceremony (Greene County prosecutor Dan Patterson and DPS director Mark James are also scheduled to speak). KWOS
- ➤ Missouri Mothers Against Drunk Driving held a candlelight vigil at the Capitol building in Jefferson City on April 7 to honor victims of drunk driving and urge lawmakers to support House Bill 87—planned to impose tougher penalties for repeat offenders and those whose actions cause death.
