GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Monday evening, the NAACP Fulton branch hosted candidates for school board and city council seats who discussed recent progress in school construction and plans to address budget, safety, and housing concerns. - ➤ Absentee voting began Tuesday for the local election with Missouri voters casting ballots in Boone, Cole and Callaway counties by using in-person sites such as the Government Center, the Courthouse Annex in Jefferson City and the clerk's office in Fulton. Mail-in ballot requests had to be received by 5 p.m. Wednesday, ballots will be accepted until April 7 and a photo ID is required. ABC 17
HEALTH NEWS
