COMMUNITY NEWS

  • About 800 people with disabilities and their families gathered Wednesday morning in the Capitol rotunda for the 25th annual Disability Rights Legislative Day. Attendees met with legislators to discuss key issues and stress the importance of ongoing advocacy.  KRCG-TV

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Lincoln University School of Nursing is accepting applications for its Fall 2026 BSN program; applicants must submit materials by March 3. The program admits 30 students, welcoming current pre-nursing and transfer students (this cohort approach builds teamwork for a career in healthcare).  Lincoln University of Missouri

  • Freshman Savion Harris began interning with Rep. David Tyson Smith at the Capitol in Jefferson City after speaking at the Source Summit in Columbia (hosted by his pastor Lester Woods).
