Missouri lawmakers debated a bill that would implement an annual A–F school report card, weighting academic achievement and growth to make performance clear to parents, educators, and taxpayers.

The measure, which includes a new Show Me Success Program, remains in committee.

Jefferson City announced its 2026 Spring Clean-Up dates for Republic Service residents, with the west side scheduled from April 13-17 and the east side from April 20-24; residents may place eligible bulky items curbside from the Sunday before through 5:00 a.m. Monday.
